The hunter sail boat is intended for cruising enthusiasts. It is meant more for recreation than for anything else and could be sized from anything over 47 feet. The boat is of North American design and can be handled by a single person, although it is not uncommon to see two people in these boats. People who have used this boat have commented that it is fast as well as handles well when compared to other sail boats in the same class category.
Since it is a cruiser the Hunter boat is used for mini cruises and day sailing activity. It could be used to hang around in the harbor or to sail you to nearby islands if you wish. This boat has enough room on board the cabin for an overnight stay should you want one. The smallest of these Hunters boats have the V-birth and a loft cabin. The newer models in fact even boast of some of the amenities and comforts only otherwise seen on large cruising vessels. The common Hunters around are now seen with facilities such as refrigerators and freezers, a saloon and an airy room. It is very much a status symbol to own one of these wonderful boats.
Innovation is a very important aspect of these boats. A certain medium sized cruiser in this category of Hunter boats showcases a cantilevered table which is designed to be able to move up or down or even rotate outwards. This gives the users easy access to the settee located behind the table. The very boat also has what is referred to as ergonomic seating in the cockpit which is a comfortable seating option that gives users enough space to move around.
